On the Judicial System of Jewish Law

Abstract

As a type of traditional legal culture, Jewish law is the belief barrier, ethical norm, life pattern and spiritual home for the believers. Jewish law shows some outstanding characteristics in the fields of judiciary, crime and penalty, principle of judgment and concept of justice, etc. And it express a wealth of social management functions by protecting the faith, disputing resolution and ethical enlightening. The judicial system and practice of Jewish law have certain significance to contemporary Chinese society.
